Facet kites are a form of externally braced cellular box kites.  They fly best in medium strength winds, although they are capable of handling much stronger winds.  However, before attempting to fly in strong winds it is advisable to gain some experience in lighter winds.  A tail is not required but can be added for decorative purposes.
